ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the first respondent to appoint a competent police officer in the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police to conduct the investigation of the case in Crime No. 102 of 2021 pending on the file of the 4th respondent and to file a final report within the time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the enquiry is pending before the third respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that there are about to complete the investigation in Crime No.102 of 2021 for the offences under Sections 279 and 337 of IPC.

4. In view of the above, the third respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file the final report before the concerned Court within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The second respondent is directed to monitor the investigation done by the third respondent.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
