ORDER

The present petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to carry the food waste from Kerala in the vehicles bearing Registration Nos.TN 75 AC 3296 and TN 74 BC 0563 to his pig farm situated at Karungulam Village, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District.

2. According to the petitioner, he is running a Pig Farm in the lands in S.Nos.663/1H and 664/14 to an extent of 0.33.50 hectares and S.No.665/7 to an extent of 0.36.00 hectares. While so, he in order to feed the pigs in the above said farm, used to procure food waste from Kerala regularly by using the Vehicles bearing Registration Nos.TN 75 AC 3296 2/6

and TN 74 BC 0563. Presently some of the miscreants had dumped the meat waste and medical waste from Kerala in a public place in Tamil Nadu. Therefore, the genuine purchase of the petitioner has also been affected and citing the above said incident, the respondent officials preventing the petitioner from taking the waste food from Kerala. Therefore, the petitioner sent a representation to the respondents on 07.01.2025 and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner filed this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondents received the representation from the petitioner and the same is under consideration. Already some unknown persons have dumped the meat waste and medical waste from Kerala in the public place of Tamil Nadu. Therefore, they will consider the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law within 15 days.

4. Considering the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court recording the above said submission of the respondents, directs the respondents 2 and 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner and to 3/6

take appropriate decision in accordance with law within 15 days from the date of this order.

5. With the above said observations and directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
