By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission state itself.

2. The present petition is filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the respondents to permit the petitioner to conduct a Conference (Valayar Valurumai Manadu) at Kannapar Thidal, Othakkadai, Madurai on 31.01.2021.

3. Mr.B.Karthikeyan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner contended that a petition in this regard was submitted to the District Collector, Madurai District and it was in turn sent to the Deputy Superintendant of Police, Madurai for enquiry and report. 4. At this juncture, Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the representation given by the petitioner to the District Collector was rejected on 21.01.2021.

5. Recording the said submissions, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
