Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to revise the seniority of the petitioners and their batch mates in the category of Audit Inspector of HR and CE, who were appointed as Audit Inspectors pursuant to the notification advertisement No.20/98 and 32 of 1998 dated 01.08.1998 issued by the 3rd respondent derived from the marks of the appointees scored in their selection before the 3rd respondent as ordered by this court in their judgment dated 15.11.2019 and consequently to revise all the promotions made from these appointees to the category of Audit Superintendents, thereon to the category of Assistant Audit officers and from thereon to the category of Regional Audit Officers and to issue revised promotion orders, accordingly to all these said categories within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioners seeking re-fixation of seniority have filed this writ petition in the year 2023.

2.When this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the issue has already been settled by the Hon'ble Supreme Court and therefore, nothing survives in this writ petition.

3.Recording the above submission, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 03.12.2025 DSK 3/5
