PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 and 3 to take action as per order of the 1st respondent dated 10.06.2010 against the respondents 4 to 60 under Section 55 of the Wakf Act 1995 to remove the encroachments in the property in Patta No. 1676 in Survey No.202/A to an extent of 0.21.0 hectares and in Survey No. 202/2B, 0.15.0 hectares in total 0.36.0 in Ayakkudi Village, Palani Taluk, Dindigul District and deliver possession to the Wakf in accordance with law and in terms of Wakf Act 1995.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the 1st respondent / Tamil Nadu Wakf Board would submit that the Board has already passed final orders and it was communicated to the revenue authorities. The Revenue Divisional Officer concerned has initiated action to evict the encroachers.

2.That being so, no further consideration is required in respect of the grounds raised in the present Writ Petition. If any grievance exists, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the competent authority in the manner as contemplated 4/6
