Prayer in CRL MP(MD). No.1010 of 2020 :- Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed under section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, praying this Hon'ble Court to extend the time for completion of investigation RC.01/2019/NIA/DLI on the file of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, NIA, Camp at Ramanathapuram by another three(3) months to unravel entire true facts regarding the crime and filing final report.

Prayer in CRL OP(MD).No.1070 of 2019 :

Criminal Original Petition is filed under section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, praying this Hon'ble Court to call for the records pertaining to the FIR No.46 of 2018 on the file of the Respondent No.1 and quash the same.

ORDER:- Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is coming on for hearing on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.R.Karthikeyan, Special Public Prosecutor For National Investigation Agency On Behalf of the Petitioner, this Court made the following order:

This petition has been filed to extend the time for completion of investigation RC.01/2019/NIA/DLI on the file of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, NIA Camp at Ramanathapuram by another three months to unravel entire true facts regarding crime and filing final report.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that some important evidences relating to the crime is available in the house of accused A1 to A10 and according search warrant under https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL MP(MD). No.1010 of 2020 Section 93 of Cr.P.C were obtained from NIA Special Court, Poonammalee Chennai and searches were conducted on 20.05.2019. The article seized during the search including the digital devices were submitted to NIA Special Court, Poonnamallee, Chennai and have been forwarded to C-DAC, Trivandrum for forensic analysis and the report is awaited. Hence he seeks further time of three months to complete the trial and file the final report.

3. The respondent has no objection in granting further time to the respondent police to file the final report.

4. In view of the same, the time frame in Crl.O.P(MD) No. 1070 of 2019 dated 13.09.2019 is further extended by three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
