Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to immediately take necessary action on the petitioner's representation dated 17.04.2012 thereby to place the case of the petitioner's father R.Sivarajan son of Ramaiyah Nadar life convict No.4584 of Madurai Central Prison before the Advisory Board meeting under Rule No.341(7) of the Tamilnadu Prison Rules, 1983 and to proceed further in accordance with law. ORDER
Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Writ Petition has become infructuous, since the petitioner's father has been released subsequently and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.
2. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
