ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in FIR in Crime No.91 of 2015 on the file of the first respondent and quash the same with regard to the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent and the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent.

3. The petitioner and the respondent No.2 are husband and wife. A case has been registered against the petitioner in Crime No.91 of 2015 for the alleged offences under Sections 294(b), 323 and 324 I.P.C and also under Section 4 of TNPWH Act and seeking to quash the said https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ proceedings, the present petition has been filed.

4. When the matter is taken up for hearing, a joint memo of compromise has been filed by both parties and it is also signed by both the parties and counsels, in which, it is stated that the matter has already been settled between the parties and proceedings may be quashed. The said joint memo of compromise is taken on record.

5. In view of the said compromise memo, this Court is of the view that no useful purpose will be served by proceedings further in this matter.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the proceedings in Crime No.91 of 2015 on the file of the first respondent is quashed.
