ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to grant permission to conduct the sports meet on the occasion of Pongal festival dated 16.01.2023 on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 19.12.2022.
2. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that there is a counter claim by another group and that both the parties were directed to appear before the second respondent, but they have not turned up.
4. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and M/s.M.Gayathri, learned counsel, who is appearing on behalf of the group, would submit that they are ready to appear before the second respondent.

Recording the submissions made on either sides, the writ petitioner as well as the counter claimant are directed to appear before the second respondent on 12.01.2023 and on such appearance, the second respondent is directed to consider their representations and pass orders in accordance with law.
6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
