: Respondents PRAYER : This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to transfer the investigation in Crime No.499 of 2014 from the file of the 3rd respondent to the file of the 6th respondent and consequently direct the 6th respondent to conduct proper investigation in an expeditious manner and to file the final report within the stipulated period as prescribed by this Court.

ORDER

This petition is filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.499 of 2014 from the file of the 3rd respondent to the file of the 6th respondent.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the investigation in crime No.499 of 2014, on the file of the 3rd respondent police has been completed and laid the charge sheet on 25.04.2016, which was also taken cognizance in C.C.No.222 of 2016, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tirunelveli.

3.Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, since the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous, this petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
