Prayer: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondents to give police protection to the petitioner at the time of surveying his land in S.No.481/6C1 and 481/6C3 of Markandanpatti Village, Devakottai Taluk, Sivagangai District.

ORDER

The present petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to give adequate police protection to the petitioner.

2. Mr.R.Erottuchamy, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, would contend that the representation submitted by the petitioner was registered in C.No.8/HO/DVK/2021 and posted for enquiry.

3. Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the second respondent is directed to dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner, in accordance with law and based on findings and on merits, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order / uploading of the order and after giving notice to the private respondents.
