O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents from constructing any bridge over the petitioners' land in S.No.159, at Uppliyapuram South Village, Duraiyur Taluk, Trichy District.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent has obtained written instructions from the authorities to the effect that over bridge has already been constructed and opened for general public, on 01.03.2013. He further submits that no constructions have been made in survey No.159. The entire bridge has been constructed across Ayiattu Channel which covers Survey Nos.160 and 161. The said survey numbers 160 and 161 are classified as cart track in the village accounts. Therefore, it is clear that no construction has been put up in S.No.159. 2/4

3. In view of the above said submission, no further orders are required to be passed in the Writ Petition. Hence, this Writ Petition stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
