The present Writ Petition is filed challenging the order passed by the District Collector under which the cheque signing power of the writ petitioner who was then functioning as the Panchayat President was taken away.

2.Since the tenure of the Panchayat President is over, nothing survives in the writ petition. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
