ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed challenging an order passed by the third respondent herein, under which the request of the petitioner for grant of residential certificate was rejected on the ground that he had not been residing in the said village for more than six months.

2. Now that according to the petitioner, he is residing there for the past 10 years, he is at liberty to apply afresh to the third respondent. In case, such an application is made, the same shall be disposed of within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of such an application.

3. With the above said observation, the Writ Petitions is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
