PRAYER :- Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of The Constitution of India to direct the Learned IV Additional District and Sessions Judge, Madurai to expedite the hearing in O.S.No. 557 of 2024 and dispose of the same within the time frame fixed by this Court. ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed to direct the Learned IV Additional District and Session Judge, Madurai, for early disposal of the suit in O.S.No. 557 of 2024.

2. This Court, vide order dated 11.02.2026, had directed the Learned IV Additional District and Sessions Judge, Madurai, to send a year wise pendency report of the pending suits and in compliance of the same, the Learned IV Additional District and Session Judge, Madurai had sent a report vide proceedings in D.No.175, dated 23.02.2026, annexing the breakup details with regard to the pendency of the cases till date, which was addressed to the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court. From

the perusal of the same, it is seen that the total number of pending cases is 633 and the pendency of the suits in the year 2024 is 120.

3. Considering the fact that the present suit is of the year 2024, the learned Learned IV Additional District and Sessions Judge, Madurai, is directed to expedite the trial and dispose of the suit in O.S.No. 557 of 2024 on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.

4. With the aforesaid directions, the Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
