ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The respondent has registered a case against the petitioners in Crime No.8 of 2015 for the offence under Sections 498(A), 406 IPC, Section 4 of TNPHW Act and Section 4 0f DP Act.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that when petition enquiry was pending, the petitioners moved an application for anticipatory bail and the matter was referred to mediation to explore for possibility of settlement. In the mediation the dispute between the parties were settled and as per the agreement the accused returned the jewels and also paid cash of Rs.30,000/- to the de facto complainant. The learned counsel also produced a copy of the mediation report dated 28.10.2015.
3. Considering the above fact, the respondent Police is directed to drop further action in this case.
4. The criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
