WP(MD)No.19294 of 2013 is filed for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the entire records pertaining to the order passed by the first respondent vide G.O(2D)No.569 Revenue (Ser-I) Department dated 07.12.2012 and quash the same and consequently direct the first respondent to award promotion to the petitioner to the post of Deputy Collector in pursuance to the temporary list of Deputy Collectors (Recruitment by transfer) drawn for the year 2011-12 by the first respondent vide proceedings in G.O.(Ms)No.268 Revenue (Ser-I) Department dated 23.07.2012
2. WP(MD)No.19295 of 2013 is filed for issuance of Writ of Certiorari calling for the entire records pertaining to the orders passed by the second respondent vide proceedings in Na.Ka.A5/23617/2012 dated 24.10.2013 and subsequent order dated 28.10.2013 and quash the same.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he is unable to get instructions from the petitioner.
5. The Writ Petitions are of the year 2013 and the matters are pending for a long time. From the docket orders, it is seen that there was no representation for the petitioner on many occasions. Today, the learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that he is unable to get instructions from the petitioner. Hence, no useful purpose would be served by giving further accommodation.
6. Therefore, these writ petitions are dismissed for nonprosecution. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
