ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) This petition has filed by one P.Suganya, W/o.Krishnamoorthy. She has come up with this petition seeking a direction to the respondent police not to harass her under the guise of enquiry.

2. According to her, her date of birth is 13.07.1993 and she married one M.Krishnamoorthy on 29.06.2015. But the records revealed that Mr.Krishnamoorthy has not completed 21 years of age. If the petitioner has committed any offence under Section 18 of the Hindu Marriage Act, it is for the police to look into the same. Therefore, interrogation or enquiry to be held by the respondent police cannot be taken as harassment. At the same time, we make it clear that under the guise of enquiry, the petitioner shall not be harassed by the respondent police.

3. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
