ORDER

The present petition is filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the first and second respondents to provide adequate police protection to him.

2. Mr.A.Robinson, leanred Government Advocate (Criminal side), on instructions, submitted that the petitioner's earlier representation was closed, since a civil suit in O.S.No.53 of 2020 was pending on the file of the District Munsif Court, Valliyoor and that the petitioner filed another representation dated 14.09.2020 containing same set of allegations which was also disposed of on 22.09.2020. He therefore prayed for dismissing the present petition as the matter in dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents is purely civil in nature and there is no necessity for providing police protection to the petitioner.

3. Admittedly a civil suit is pending between the petitioner and the private respondents and the petitioner can work out his remedy either in the civil suit or by lodging a seperate complaint before jurisdictional magistrate if so advised.
