ORDER
This writ petition is filed for a Mandamus, directing the first respondent to promote the petitioner to the post of Superintendent on par with her batchmates, i.e. 2014-215 panel for the post of Superintendent and pay all service and monetary benefits.
2. Today, when the writ petition is taken up for admission, Mr.V.Nirmal Kumar, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submits that the case of the petitioner is under consideration of the first respondent and they require six more weeks to take a decision on her promotion.

Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, the writ petition is disposed of, with a direction to the first respondent to take a decision on the petitioner's promotion, within a period of five weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and after taking the decision, inform the same to the petitioner. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
