ORDER

The Criminal Revision is directed against the order passed in Crl.M.P.No.10919 of 2023 dated 20.11.2023 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.6, Madurai, dismissing the petition filed under Sections 451 and 457 Cr.P.C.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Prohibition Enforcement Wing, Madurai District, has already passed an order confiscating the vehicle involved in this case vide order dated 20.02.2024 and he has also produced the copy of the confiscation proceedings.

3. Since the vehicle itself was confiscated, nothing survives for further adjudication in this revision. Hence, this Criminal Revision Case 2/4

stands dismissed. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the confiscation proceedings, if so advised. No costs.
