ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to conduct an enquiry with regard to transfer of patta for Survey No.138/3 situated in Thuravikadu Village, Pattukottai Taluk, Thanjavur District, on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 26.12.2012.

2. According to the petitioner, patta for the said property was standing in the name of the petitioner in patta No.376. The other revenue records were also standing in the name of the writ petitioner. However, in the year 1998, the patta has been transferred in the name of the private respondent, namely, one Mr.Venkatachalam, who is the father of fourth and fifth respondents, by way of an order said to have been passed by the second respondent herein. Thereafter, the petitioner is running from 2/5

pillar to post to get a copy of the order said to have been passed by the second respondent herein, so that, he could file revision petition before the first respondent.

3. The learned Counsel for the fourth and fifth respondents had produced a copy of the order, dated 24.03.1998, passed by the second respondent herein. A copy has also been furnished to the learned Counsel for the petitioner. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the said order before the first respondent herein, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In case, if the revision is filed within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, the same shall be entertained by the first respondent without considering the period of limitation.

4. With the above said observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. 04.08.2022 Index :
