ORDER

The case of the petitioner is that he is a resident of Survey No.1/2, Block Nos.2 to 6 at Anthaneri, Tallakulam Village, K.Pudur, Madurai. An application was submitted for grant of the patta on the ground that the petitioner is a landless poor. 2.According to the petitioner enquiry was initiated and conducted and it appears that the Revenue Divisional Officer has also recommended for grant of patta to the petitioner and few others in the same locality. In the affidavit it is stated that the RDO has made recommendation on 08.10.2020 directing the Tahsildar to issue patta in favour of the petitioner and for others. 3.When the matter has been taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader has confirmed the above fact and however submitted that reasonable time may be granted for the Thasildar to issue patta based on the recommendation of the RDO and the same would be complied with duly.

4.In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Tahsildar, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai respondent herein to consider the claim of the petitioner for grant of patta on the basis of the recommendation of the RDO, dated 08.10.2020 within https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD)No.1233 of 2021 a period of four weeks form the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
