Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to disburse the earned leave salary for 30 days surrendered by the petitioner from the year 2011 together with interest at the rate of 18 percent per annum from the date of petitioner's retirement to till the date of actual payment by the respondents by considering the petitioner's representation dated 31.10.2019.

ORDER

It is stated by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent that the order of the Writ Court has been complied with on 15.07.2020. Hence, the disobedience alleged cannot be termed as willful in nature.

2.Accordingly, this Contempt Petitions stand Closed. If at all the petitioner is aggrieved against the compliance order dated 15.07.2020, it is open to him to challenge the same in accordance with law.
