The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus as against the first respondent to cancel the EB connection provided to the fourth respondent which is located in the petitioner's land, based upon his representation dated 23.12.2025.

2. It is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the service connection has been given to a vacant site, which stands in the name of the writ petitioner. However, service connection has been granted in the name of the fourth respondent without his knowledge. Hence, the petitioner has given a representation on 23.12.2025 to cancel the service connection.

3. In view of the above said facts, the first respondent is directed to consider the request of the petitioner and after affording opportunity to the fourth respondent, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
