The above petition has been filed seeking orders to condone the delay of 74 days in filing the appeal, challenging the judgment of acquittal made in C.C.No.167 of 2022 dated 04.06.2024 on the file of the Fast Track Court, Karaikudi.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that the petition may be allowed.

4. Considering the reasons assigned and also the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondent, this Court is inclined to condone the delay. Accordingly, this petition is ordered and the Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order and list it for admission in the usual course.
