This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the charge sheet in C.C.No.66/2019 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Kulithalai for the offences under section 2(31), 39(2) (3) and Sec 40 of Indian Wild Life Protection Act 1972.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the trial has commenced and the witness has been examined in chief.
