ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to forbear the respondents 1 to 3 from harassing the petitioner on the basis of the complaint given by the respondents 4 to 24, the exorbitant interest money lenders as against the complaint of the petitioner in CSR.No.1011 of 2022 dated 28.11.2022 on the file of the third respondent which discloses cognizable offences under the provisions of the Exorbitant Interest Act, 2003 by considering the petitioner's written representation dated 05.01.2023.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had borrowed money from the private respondents 4 to

24. He would further submit that since the husband of the tenth 3/6

respondent is a police officer, taking advantage of the same, the respondents are harassing the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner against the private respondents, all of them were summoned and they gave statements that the petitioner had obtained loan from them, but without repaying the amount, the above false complaint came to be registered. He would further submit that as of now, no petition or complaint is pending against the petitioner.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
