Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission to the petitioner for conducting Kabadi Tournament schedule to be held on 18.01.2022 and 19.01.2022 from 09.00 a.m to 10.00 p.m and give permission and police protection in the name of the Maruthu Memorial Kabadi Club in connection with "Karnal John Benny Kuvik Birthday Celebration".

The petitioner wants to hold the petition mentioned event on 19.01.2022 and 20.01.2022. The second respondent is directed to permit the same. The second respondent can stipulate appropriate conditions to ensure not only the smooth conduct of the event but also adherence to Covid protocols. The petitioner gives an undertaking that the organizers of the event will go by the Police directives.
