2. The petitioner is the mother of the detenue. The petitioner complains that her daughter is missing. Her complaint was registered in Crime No.212 of 2024 by the second respondent. Since the daughter has not yet been traced, the present habeas corpus petition came to be filed.
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner's daughter originally eloped with one Bihari. Later, she was brought back and she was given in marriage to a local villager. The said person also appears to have left her. The petitioner's daughter is said to be in Bangalore and is living with one Suresh.
4.We are satisfied that this is not a case of illegal detention. Be that as it may, we direct the second respondent to expedite his efforts to trace the missing girl.

5. With the aforesaid direction to the second respondent, the habeas corpus petition is disposed of.
