O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with this application under Section 482 of Cr.P.C seeking a direction to the respondents to give police protection to the petitioner to conduct union council meeting to be conducted on 13.07.2015 and on all subsequent days at office of the Thiruppuvanam Selection Grade Panchyat Union.

2. Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that the respondent police has given police protection to conduct the Union Council meeting and the same has been conducted peacefully and nothing survives in this petition and hence, he prayed for dismissal.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) that police protection has already been given and the meeting has been conducted peacefully and nothing survives in this petition, this petition is dismissed as infructuous.
