respondent to provide new electricity connection to Pattatharasi Amman Temple situated at S.No.97/6 at Ramakrishnapuram Village, Andipatty Taluk, Theni District in the name of Temple by considering the petitioner's application dated 10.10.2023 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The only request made in this writ petition is for providing the electricity service connection to the petition mentioned Temple. The existence of the petition mentioned Temple is beyond dispute. The A-register in respect of Survey No.97/6, Ramakrishnapuram Village clearly indicates the existence of the Temple. 3.Therefore, the third respondent is directed to provide electricity service connection to the said Temple as expeditiously as possible. 2/4

Obtaining of "No Objection Certificate" from the Tahsildar is dispensed with. The petitioner however has to give indemnity bond and comply with other formalities that may be required by the third respondent. The third respondent shall grant the electricity service connection only in the name of the Temple and not in the name of any individual. 4.This writ petition is allowed accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
