Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to grant necessary permission and provide adequate police protection for the peaceful conduct of the Consecration Ceremony (Kumbhabhishekam) of Arulmighu Sri Chinnammal, Sri Karuppasamy, Sri Periyasamy, Sri Perumal, Sri Madurai Veeran and Sri Nagammal Temple situated at Mahalipatti, Kalukkur Village, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District, from 30.01.2026 to 01.02.2026 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.12.2025.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

Mandamus, to direct the respondents to grant necessary permission and provide adequate police protection for the peaceful conduct of the Consecration Ceremony (Kumbhabhishekam) of Arulmighu Sri Chinnammal, Sri Karuppasamy, Sri Periyasamy, Sri Perumal, Sri Madurai Veeran and Sri Nagammal Temple situated at Mahalipatti, Kalukkur Village, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District, from 30.01.2026 to 01.02.2026 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.12.2025. 2.This Court without expressing any opinion on merits is directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 16.12.2025 and pass orders in accordance to law within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
