ORDER

This petition has been filed for a direction to the 2nd respondent herein to register an FIR on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 08.07.2014 which had been acknowledged in CSR No.219/2014.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

3. It is seen that earlier the petitioner has given a complaint and during the course of enquiry, the petitioner's husband made a representation that he would return the jewelry. Thereafter, he did not keep up his word. The then Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Kumbakonam, had closed the enquiry on 01.07.2015 by addressing a communication to this Court. This Court deprecates such conduct of police officers for addressing a communication directly to the Judge. When this Court https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

had directed the presence of the Sub Inspector of Police today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the Sub Inspector of Police has been transferred to elsewhere. Now, the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Kumbakonam is present. The petitioner is directed to give a fresh complaint narrating all the facts to the Inspector of Police and the same shall be enquired into and shall take action in accordance with law.
