RESPONDENT/ RESPONDENT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to modify the condition imposed upon the petitioners in Crl.OP(MD) No.19377 of 2019 dated 20.12.2019 to the effect to execute the surety before any one Judicial Magistrate at Chennai instead of learned Judicial Magistrate, Tenkasi Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.G.THALAIMUTHARASU, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.A.ROBINSON, Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- The petitioners are said to be having serious health issues and that, therefore, they were not in a position to undertake a long travel from Chennai to Tenkasi for the purpose of surrendering and executing the sureties.
2.The petitioners, therefore, want this Court to modify the earlier order passed by this Court and permit them to surrender and execute the sureties before any one of the usual Magistrate at Chennai. CRL MP(MD) No.624 of 2020 4.This petition is ordered. The petitioners are permitted to surrender and execute the sureties before the X Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore. The time for surrender and executing the sureties is extended by two more weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
