O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents to grant joint patta in favour of the petitioner and in the names of her family members, in respect of the property in Survey No.847/2A to an extent of 16 cents at Punjai Pugalur South Village, Pugalur Taluk, Karur District. 2.The petitioner claims that the aforementioned property is an ancestral property and she and her family members have inherited the same. According to her, they are in possession of the subject property as absolute owners. The petitioner has submitted an application on 07.02.2020 to the official respondents seeking to issue a joint patta by enclosing all the relevant documents in support of her case. Since the said application has not been considered till date, she has filed this Writ Petition. 3.The petitioner has filed documents along with this Writ Petition in support of her case seeking for joint patta in her name and in the names of her family members.

W.P.(MD)No.1223 of 2021 4.Heard Mr.AN.Ramanathan, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

5.No prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's application seeking for issuance of joint patta for the aforementioned property, is considered on merits and in accordance with law after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and any other necessary party, whom the fourth respondent deems fit to enquire.

6.Accordingly, this Court directs the fourth respondent to consider the petitioner's application, dated 07.02.2020 seeking for issuance of joint patta in her name and in the names of her family members in respect of the property comprised in Survey No.847/2A to an extent of 16 cents at Punjai Pugalur South Village, Pugalur Taluk, Karur District, and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and any other necessary party, whom the fourth respondent deems fit to enquire, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7.With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
