ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the respondent to complete the investigation 1/4

in the case in Crime No.431 of 2022 and file a final report within the time stipulated time by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the FIR was registered on 17.11.2022 and that the investigation is in initial state. Hence, he seeks six months time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.431 of 2022 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
