ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to not to harass the petitioner under the pretext of enquiry 1/4

2. The petitioner has sent a representation of 31.12.2024 to the respondents stating that the second respondent had called the petitioner for enquiry to enquire whether the petitioner involved in lottery business and he was also asked to furnish g.pay details. Further the petitioner is only a auto financier and he is not involved in any lottery business,but still the harassment continues,hence the present petition has been filed.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner has sent a representation to the Superintendent of Police, Pudukottai who had forwarded the same and for that purpose only the petitioner was called for enquiry.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner is ready to appear before the second respondent for enquiry on 29.01.2025.

5. In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent police for enquiry on 29.01.2025 without fail and thereafter the respondent police to complete the enquiry within a period of two months from 29.01.2025.

6. With the above direction this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
