The instant writ petition has been filed by a retired Assistant Manager of the second respondent Co-operative Bank, seeking a mandamus for disbursement of his terminal benefits.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent brought to the notice of this court that the petitioner has suffered an order of recovery by way of order passed by the second respondent dated 29.03.2023 for a total extent of Rs.23,88,213/-. Challenging the said order, the petitioner has preferred a revision under section 153 of TamilNadu Cooperative Societies Act before the first respondent in the month of April 2023. So far orders have not been passed by the first respondent. In such circumstances, the respondents expressed their inability to release the terminal benefits.

copy of this order. Depending upon the orders of the Revisional Authority, the respondents are directed to release the terminal benefits to the writ petitioner.
