ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition filed, under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., seeking orders, to direct the second respondent to defreeze the petitioner's Joint Bank Account No.211025867 maintained in the third respondent bank, which the Puliyampatti Primary Co-operative Society.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the impugned account is a salary account of the petitioner and that it is a joint account with the petitioner's husband, who is the tenth accused in the above case.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that they have no objection to withdraw the salary amount, but on the submission of necessary proof.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the petitioner is directed to submit a representation along with proof to show that the amount came to be credited Government for the petitioner's salary and on production of the same, the first respondent is 2/4

directed to take necessary steps to permit the petitioner to withdraw that amount from the said account and also to consider the request for defreezing the account also, if not required.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
