ORDER
The Petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 08.11.2023 within the stipulated time. 2.Mr.S.Shanmugavel, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.The petitioner has purchased the subject matter property vide sale deed dated 09.05.1990 and she is in possession of the same. For the purpose of obtaining loan, she has got encumbrance certificate in respect of the said property. However, it is seen that the vendor of the petitioner once again created a sale deed in respect of the petitioner's property to the other person vide sale deed dated 02.07.2008. In this regard, the petitioner gave a representation to the respondent 08.11.2023. Since the said representation has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed. 2/5
4.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of by the respondent, on merits and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court. 5.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation will be disposed of in accordance with law by the respondent within the time stipulated by this Court.
6.In view of the above said submission, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 08.11.2023 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned, within a period of 16 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
