Respondent PRAYER : Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act,1971, praying to punish the respondent for wilful disobedience of the order, dated 08.08.2024, made in W.P.(MD) No.16321 of 2018. For Petitioner :

ORDER
When the contempt was taken up for hearing, the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Advocate General, representing Mr.R.Suresh Kumar, Additional Government Pleader, stated that as against the order passed in W.P.(MD) No.16321 of 2018, dated 08.08.2024, a writ appeal in W.A.(MD) No.497 of 2025 was preferred before a Division Bench, and that the said writ appeal was entertained and interim stay granted on 07.03.2025.
2. As the appellate Court has entertained the writ appeal and also thought it fit to grant interim order, this Contempt Petition is closed. In case the writ appeal were to end in favour of the contempt petitioner, he is at liberty to move an application for revival of this petition or file a fresh contempt petition.
3. With the above observation, this Contempt Petition stands closed.
