O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to enter the decree of dismissal dated 02.03.2020 on the file of the I Additional District Judge, Madurai and remove the encumbrance on the petitioner's property in Survey No. 152/10, Meyyanampatti Village, Seemanuthu Panchayat, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District, considering his representation dated 31.07.2022.

2. By consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that he has made a representation to the first respondent on 31.07.2022, seeking to enter the decree of dismissal dated 02.03.2020, on the file of the I Additional District Judge, Madurai and to remove the encumbrance on his property 2/5

in Survey No.152/10, Meyyanampatti Village, Seemanuthu Panchayat, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District. But till date the said representation has not been considered by the first respondent. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the first respondent.

5. Considering the above facts, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.07.2022 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
