ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 294(b), 506(1) of IPC in Crime No.13 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that accused persons have refused to return the jewels of the defacto complainant. Hence, a case has been registered. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and he has not committed any offence. He seeks this Court to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) strongly opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Further, the petitioner was granted bail by this Court in CRL OP(MD)No.6101 of 2025, vide order, dated 17.09.2025, on the condition that she should deposit the original title deeds either of herself or her family members to the value of Rs.50 Lakhs/-. Since the same was not deposited, the prosecution moved a petition for cancellation of bail. At this stage, the present petition for anticipatory bail was filed.

5.Therefore, the present petition for anticipatory bail cannot be entertained on technical grounds. However, this Court is inclined to extend the time period granted to the petitioner to deposit the title deeds. 6.Therefore, the petitioner is directed to deposit the title deeds as per the condition stated in the bail petition in CRL OP(MD)No.6101 of 2025, vide order, dated 17.09.2025, on or before 17.02.2026 and the petition for cancellation of bail shall be kept in abeyance till 17.02.2026. If the petitioner has not deposited the title deeds

within the above said period, the petition for cancellation of bail may be entertained. 7.With the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 28-01-2026 Tmg (1/2) Note: Issue order copy on 28.01.2026.
