O R D E R

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to issue a direction to the second respondent police to give proper police protection to the petitioners and their family member's life and limb, on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 09.01.2020.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the complaint of the petitioner's son to the first respondent has been received by the first respondent by post on 10.01.2020. Despite, summoning to the petitioner he has not appeared before the first respondent for enquiry. He would further submit that due enquiry would be conducted and if necessary suitable protecton will be given to the petitioner.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was assaulted by two persons, but the respondents are not taking stpes.

4. In view of the aforesaid submission, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry and take steps in accordance with law, if the allegations are found to be true. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

5. With the above observations, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed off.
