O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by V. BHARATHIDASAN, J.) The petitioner is the father of the detenue and alleging that his daughter by name Sonia, aged about 23 years, was found missing from 06.01.2020, he said to have given a complaint before the second respondent police. But, so far no action has been taken by the second respondent police to secure the detenue. Hence, the present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.S.Ravi, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State, on instructions would submit that the investigation reveals that the detenue eloped with one Azeez, who is hailing from Kerala and both of them got married and they have also given a complaint before the Kollankodu Police Station, Kerala Sate, seeking police protection. Based on the said complaint, enquiry was conducted, in which, the petitioner appeared and his statement was also recorded by the police. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

3. Considering the above facts, it is seen that there is no illegal detention as alleged by the petitioner. Hence, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
