ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by V.M.VELUMANI, J.,) The petitioner, in this public interest litigation, seeks a direction to the respondents to consider the representation, dated 11.06.2015, given by the Villagers of Pannaipatti and other adjoining Villages, viz., Public and Students, for shifting the Government High School to new building, situated at T.Pannaipatti Panchayat, Dindigul Taluk, Kannivadi Post, Dindigul District.

2.According to the petitioner, a Government High School at Pannaipatti Village, is functioning in old and dilapidated building. A new building has been constructed with all facilities from and out of the Central Government Education Fund and it is ready, for occupation. The Authorities are not shifting the School to new building, which is convenient to all the Students coming from nearby Villages. The General Public and Students gave various representations, including the representation, dated 11.06.2015, to the respondents. The respondents did not consider the said representation. Hence, the petitioner has come out with the present writ petition.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.VR.Shanmuganathan, learned Special Government Pleader, produced a letter in Na.Ka.No.1378/A5/2014, dated 19.08.2015, addressed to him and submitted that the construction of the building is not completed. be completed. The electricity service connection has to be given to all the rooms. On completion of all those works, the School will be shifted to the new building, within a short time. 4.Recording the said submissions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
