Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The criminal case against the petitioner has since culminated in final report and also taken on file in C.C No.5 of 2022 on the file of the Special Court for Land Grabbing cases. The petitioner is directed to apply before the trial magistrate for the relief now sought for. The petitioner's petition shall be disposed of on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three weeks after application is filed.

3.Granting such liberty to the petitioner and giving direction to the trial magistrate, this writ petition is disposed of.
