O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.02.2023 and consequently, direct the respondents to subdivide the property comprised in S.No.1060/2 situated at Vasuthevanallur Village, Sivagiri Taluk, Tenkasi District and thereafter, issue separate patta to the petitioner's name within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. By consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the property of the petitioner has been subdivided and separate patta has been issued. 2/5

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has sought for sub division only in respect of S.No. 1060/2, but the sub division has been made in respect of 1060/2A. Hence, the petitioner seeks for correcting the said patta issued to him.

In view of the above, this Court directs the petitioner to approach the third respondent by filing an application for sub division of the property comprised in S.No.1060/2 situated at Vasuthevanallur Village, Sivagiri Taluk, Tenkasi District and issue separate patta, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the third respondent is directed to consider the said application and issue fresh patta to the petitioner, within a period of four weeks thereafter.

6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
