O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking quashment of the J.C.No.85 of 2015 on the file of the learned Juvenile Justice Board at Sivagangai.
2. During the course of submission, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that S.C.No.132 of 2016, pertaining to adult accused was disposed of and all the accused were found not guilty of the offence, as all the witnesses deposed hostile to prosecution.
3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent police submitted that before the learned Juvenile Justice Board at Sivagangai in J.C.No.85 of 2015, P.W.1 and P.W.2 were examined, however both of them did not support the case of the prosecution and now, the case is posted on 07.09.2023 for further reference and submitted that the prosecution is prepared to produce all the witnesses as directed by the Juvenile Justice Board. 2/5

Considering the circumstances, since the trial in J.C.No.85 of 2015 on the file of the learned Juvenile Justice Board at Sivagangai, has already been commenced, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the learned Juvenile Justice Board at Sivagangai, to expedite the enquiry/trial and dispose of the same not later than the period of three months.
6. The learned Juvenile Justice Board at Sivagangai shall also keep in view that all the witnesses in S.C.No.132 of 2016 have turned hostile to the prosecution, thereby, the accused have been acquitted.
